Customer Reviews

Very nice home bar.

Review by c elliott, 2010-08-18

I researched bars for two months before I settled on this one. I am really happy with it. It took me only 2 hours to assemble it. It looks very nice in my playroom. I highly recommend this product.

Surprisingly solid, and check out that price!

Review by Ryan Barnhart, 2010-07-07

I was looking for a bar top for the back row of my movie room and this fits the space perfectly. Add a few nice swivel back bar stools and BAM! 3rd row of seating. And best of all the folks sitting on my 2nd row elevated sofa can easily rest their drinks on this too. Wine glass and bottle storage are a nice touch, particularly at this price. It's a surprisingly solid piece of furniture, very similar to the Ikea stuff I've assembled.

My only gripe is that there's some latitude in the movement with the expandable sides, meaning that they don't lock into place at perfect right angles. Once in position then stay put, and it's a small gripe to be sure. But being a bit obsessive compulsive I'm sure I'll be using some furniture glue or wood screws to permanently lock them into position. I have no intention of ever folding it up anyway.

In terms of transport and assembly, both were very doable for a single large person like myself. But most folks will want some help.

Exactly as pictured

Review by E. Renk, 2009-12-18

The bar is exactly as pictured. I put it together myself and didn't have too much of a problem. It can be a little awkward at some points because of the hinged pieces swinging around, so be careful that it doesn't smash a finger. I don't think it can support too much weight, but it is pretty sturdy.
